Dianthus barbatus 'Sooty' (20 seeds)
My sons teacher was having a bad day, I presented her with a bouquet of Dianthus barbatus flowers and she immediately was distracted looking with interest at the deep dark burgundy with contrasting white stamens. The flowers lasted months on end with no intervention from me and I admired it everytime I walked by. The photo was taken mid April and you can see flowers are still present, if not as prolific.
